Replacement

I will transform my other blog to more of my original idea for it. Therefore I move these photographs to this blog now.

Love the focus and the expression on his face.

Eerie playground at night.

Really pleased with this one. Colors, lighting and composition.

Another selfportrait

Nightshot, put the camerasettings to as low quality as possible to get a rougher picture.

Again, low quality to get the rougher feeling

For once a computer modified photograph*. Increased contrast, decreased lighting.

Great feeling with this one I think. Would like a bit better focus though...

Stinging nettles on one summer's eve.

Like the composition and the b&w.

Love the way it feels warm yet solemn.

Squirrel hunt

Now it seems spring is to arrive at last. Finally!

I chased a squirrel for almost an hour, stopping in a few trees to lick some sap but mainly trying to run away the poor thing.
I never really got a good angle, mostly just shooting straight up. So none of the photos of the squirrel or the birds are very good photographs. I need a lot more practise on "moving targets".

A short pause for two other inhabitants of the same tree:

Back to the squirrel, here licking sap.

I finally left the squirrel alone and put my attention to two birchtrees:

Birch-bark curling up.

Stripes on a fallen tree.

The final frontier of the winter (?)

Out of the forrest:

An older steampipe, great pattern.

Decaying lorry of some sort.

Cold wall.

The "Blood bus". A mobile "give blood unit"

Sunset

The last of todays sun:

Trying to find some "use" of the twigs blocking the view from my room.

Summertime

Posting a photograph from last summer. It's getting high time for the snow to melt away I think.

waiting for spring

I took my bike out into the ice and snow of Änggårdsbergen, risking life and limb ...litterally.
Anyway, here is the result:

(Sphagnum) Frozen in time and space.

The ice is loosing it's grip. Warm colors in cold water. If it wasn't for the focus on the dry rock to the right, this would be a great photo.

Surface tension

Great color. Lichen besides the stream.

More sculptures of ice, hard to resist a photo (or two).

Same as above, closeup

Fortress of ice.

Windowsill

Same same, but different. All very cold.

Went shopping the other day. Didn't buy anything, took some photos though.

In need of a little color maybe?

Warm reflections on a cold day.

Ice sculptures, growing from the ground

Cats

Inspired by another blog, I'll just post some photos I've taken of cats:

Older kitten I met in the middle of nowhere.

Three photos of a friends cat.

Not much of a photo, actually it's quite bad, but the motif is real nice! A lynx (actually it's a Lynx lynx lynx, to be precise)

A dream.

Another stroll

After school I took a walk in Änggårdsbergen which I'm glad to live next by. Here are some photos:

Sun shining through wall of ice.

Giants.

A self portrait, not a very good picture, but I somewhat like the idea.

Surface and shadow.

Birchwood apartments.

Dead ferns.

A lone oakleaf.

Texture.
